Jensen Huang co-founded NVIDIA in 1993 and has led it since. Under his leadership NVIDIA moved from graphics chips to CUDA-based general-purpose GPU computing, which became the default substrate for deep learning after 2012, and later to full AI data-centre systems.

Early life: Born in Taipei, Taiwan; moved to the United States as a child and worked at Denny's before studying engineering.
